Macclesfield Express

Just three days before we are set to leave for the mighty Mongolia and we have managed to wangle our way into the local paper! The article refers to us as 'the daring duo' and talks of our achievements to date. SJ makes company news!!

One of our main sponsorship partners, Hulley and Kirkwood have featured us in their monthly the newsletter. The M&E Consulting Engineers which have offices all over the UK have provided considerable backing to our rally efforts and we are very pleased to be associated with them.

Shaza makes Sheffield Uni News

Our first bit of publicity was achieved last week thanks to Matt Brown who did an excellent piece on us in Sheffield University's Student Newspaper. That's a potential 20,000 people who will know now about our trip which really is great news!! Next step for us is Regional then National coverage (and then perhaps International but lets hope this isn't them covering our dramatic rescue from the Gobi Desert or something).

Publicity

After some hard work put in by Chris over the weekend we have managed to further spread the Mongolian Adventure word. We now have a dedicated Facebook group where we can chat to peeps who are interested in the rally, but remeber this is only accessible to anyone with a Facebook account!

As well as Facebook, we have also uploaded a page to the Suzuki club UK website. The website has been put together by fanatics of the humble SJ and has already been a vital tool in keeping our Shaznay on the road! Have a look out our Mongol Rally page here
